Join UP!™ confirms stability and safety of tourist services in Turkey
In response to recent reports about the potential temporary closure of some hotels in Turkey, we would like to provide an official update based on verified information from our local partners.
Some hotels, in certain areas, may temporarily suspend operations due to non-compliance with regulatory requirements, such as a lack of necessary equipment or incomplete permitting documentation. These are standard measures as part of local inspection and licensing processes and do not in any way affect the safety or comfort of tourists. However, the majority of these hotels are classified as 3-star properties.
To minimize risks for our clients, we have proactively removed 10 establishments from our portfolio that were considered potentially unreliable. It is worth noting that approximately 80% of bookings in the Join UP!™ system are made at 4- and 5-star hotels. Therefore, our portfolio remains stable despite the current situation.
Our reliable partners in Turkey (DMC) confirm that all hotels currently available in the Join UP!™ booking system are operating as usual.
All existing bookings at operational hotels remain valid and are not subject to cancellation or modification due to these circumstances.
