What to Pack for a Worry-Free Stay in Join UP! Destinations
Pre-holiday exhaustion often stems from the question: "Did I forget something?". When traveling to warm-climate destinations like Antalya, Crete, or Hurghada, your luggage should be a smart mix of comfort, protection, and style.
Essentials for Health and Protection:
- Sun Protection: In Egypt and Tunisia, the sun is much stronger than in Europe. Choose an SPF 50+ and don’t forget a lip balm with sun protection.
- Water Shoes: Essential in Sharm El Sheikh or Kemer (where beaches can have pebbles or coral) to avoid minor injuries and explore comfortably.
- First Aid Kit: Temperature changes (AC vs. heatwaves) and new gastronomy can be challenging for your system. Pack some pain relievers, probiotics, and band-aids.
Appropriate Clothing for the Local Culture:
- In Turkey and Egypt: If you plan to visit mosques or traditional villages, you need clothes that cover your shoulders and knees (a large cotton scarf is ideal and versatile).
- Natural Materials: Opt for linen and cotton. Synthetic fibers will cause discomfort in high humidity areas like Alanya or Heraklion. Let your skin breathe!
