First to the beach

The resort is located on the private island of Kotai Faru in the Raa Atoll. The transfer from Malé International Airport takes about 45 minutes by seaplane. ✨ Festive Season at Alila Kothaifaru Maldives From 21 December to 7 January, guests can look forward to a vibrant festive programme filled with the magic of a tropical Christmas and New Year. 🎄 Christmas tree lighting, the arrival of Santa and Santarina, festive decorations and entertainment for the whole family. 🍽️ Special Christmas dinners on 24 and 25 December, along with culinary evenings featuring international dishes, Maldivian cuisine and Italian specialities. 🥂 On 31 December, enjoy a New Year’s Eve gala dinner with live performances, a mentalist show and a DJ set. On 1 January, start the year with a festive breakfast and watch the first sunset of the year from a secluded sandbank. 🧘 6 January is dedicated to wellness, with breathing practices, meditation and sound therapy. 🤍 On 7 January, celebrate Orthodox Christmas with a themed dinner, live music and a White Beach Party under the stars. The programme also includes boat trips, snorkelling, sports activities, workshops and entertainment for children.
